Not only greenhouses, but factories and industrial buildings can also become too hot during the summer. This creates uncomfortable work conditions. The Cool-FX roof coating decreases the roof’s temperature by tens of degrees. This in turn creates a far more pleasant indoor climate. The indoor temperature can drop by as much as seven degrees.

This can also save a lot of energy, because it reduces the use of the air conditioning.

Cool-FX is a white coating that reflects sunlight. It can easily be applied using a roller or a low-pressure sprayer and is specifically developed for metal and asphalt roofs. Contractors are currently developing special equipment designed to quickly and efficiently apply Cool-FX. Over the next months the coating gradually wears off during rain showers, allowing the roof to regain its original dark colour for optimal heat absorption in winter.
